Medical Coordinator

Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for new and existing patients via phone.
- Conduct intake interviews with new patients, gathering information on their reasons for seeking care, mental health background, and other relevant details.
- Assess patient needs during intake and match them with the appropriate clinician, and collect necessary patient information, including insurance details, and provide patients with required pre-appointment forms.
- Schedule and manage patient appointments in the system, and ensure necessary documents and patient forms are complete prior to appointment, following up with patients when needed.
- Willing to learn and support other office functions such as claims billing, AR follow-up, and general practice support.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years’ experience in Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred (or equivalent work experience).
- Strong knowledge and experience in Behavioral Health.
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling patient information and scheduling.
