What the rate includes. Every rate above is all in. It is the employee’s salary and statutory benefits, passed through at cost and itemized on your invoice, plus our flat $395 management fee. The fee covers legal employment and an HR team on the ground, recruitment, an i5 computer with dual monitors and headset, 24/7 IT support and a secure managed network, security certifications and insurance, training and quality, client success management and the Knit workforce platform. There are no setup, recruitment, workstation, exit or team transfer fees. Where the work suits it, output-based pricing is also available, built on the same transparent framework with the unit price calculation shown.
That is typically 50 to 70 percent below the fully loaded cost of the same role in the US.

Frequently asked questions
-
How much does IT support outsourcing cost?
Sourcefit’s IT support rates are $1,130 a month for entry level, $2,033 for mid level and $2,808 for senior IT support staff, per full-time employee working from home. Office-based staff add $100 a month. Each rate is all in: salary and benefits at cost plus the $395 management fee. There are no setup, recruitment or exit fees. Where the work suits it, output-based pricing is also available, built on the same transparent framework: we show how the unit price is calculated, so you know exactly what you are paying for.
-
Is the management fee added on top of these rates?
No. The fee is already inside every rate on this page and on every quote. A $1,130 rate is about $735 of salary and benefits at cost plus the $395 fee. You will never see the fee added to a rate you were quoted.
-
What is included in the monthly rate?
Legal employment and compliance with an HR team on the ground, recruitment, an i5 computer with dual monitors and headset, a 24/7 IT help desk, a secure managed network, our security certifications and insurance, training and quality, client success management and the Knit workforce platform. For office-based staff it also covers the seat, office network and utilities.
-
How quickly can Sourcefit build a IT support team?
Most IT support roles are recruited, interviewed and onboarded in two to four weeks. Senior system and network administrators can take longer. You interview and choose the IT support staff.
-
Who manages the team day to day?
That is your choice. Most clients manage the team directly: the IT support staff report to your managers and work inside your processes and tools, with Sourcefit handling employment, HR, equipment, IT and quality support behind them. If you would rather not manage day to day, our Sightline model builds an autonomous team with its own Sourcefit team lead and quality layer that delivers against agreed SLAs, while still reporting directly to you and working to your KPIs, not ours. Sightline is quoted separately.
-
Can the team work inside our existing systems?
Yes. IT support staff work in your ITSM, remote management and identity tools, such as ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, Freshservice, Intune, NinjaOne and Microsoft 365, under your access rules. You keep ownership of every account, and access is revoked the day someone leaves.
-
Is IT support outsourcing secure?
Sourcefit holds ISO 27001:2022 and ISO 27701 certification directly, is PCI DSS validated, has a SOC 2 report, signs HIPAA business associate agreements where needed and operates GDPR-aligned data handling. Home-based staff work on company-managed computers over a VPN with traffic routed through Cloudflare.
-
What happens if we want to bring the team in house?
The team is yours. If you decide to move them to your own entity or take them with you, they go with you. There is no transfer fee, buyout or conversion charge.
-
Dedicated technicians or a managed help desk?
A managed help desk is a shared queue the provider runs, priced per ticket or per user, and it suits low or unpredictable volume. Dedicated technicians are your named staff, in your ITSM, following your runbooks, who build knowledge of your environment over time. Sourcefit’s model is the second one. If your volume is too low to keep one technician busy, we will tell you.
-
Which support tiers can be outsourced, and what should stay in house?
Level 1 intake, triage, password and access requests, device troubleshooting and onboarding administration move offshore first, and level 2 application, configuration and network support follows once the runbooks are proven. Level 3 is also within reach: we staff systems administrators, network and cloud engineers, security analysts and IT team leads for clients who want the whole function offshore. What stays with you is IT policy, privileged access approvals and ownership of security incidents, with your offshore engineers doing the work under those controls.
-
What certifications should offshore IT support staff have?
CompTIA A+, Network+ and Security+ and ITIL Foundation for help desk; Microsoft 365 and Azure Administrator, CCNA and cloud certifications for system and network administrators. We verify certifications and run practical troubleshooting assessments, and you interview the shortlist.
-
Can the team work inside our ITSM and remote tools?
Yes, and they should. Technicians work in your ServiceNow, Jira Service Management or Freshservice, your RMM and remote access tools (Intune, NinjaOne, ConnectWise, TeamViewer) and your identity platform, so tickets, dashboards and escalation paths stay in one system. We do not run a separate ticketing system with periodic reports.
-
What SLAs and metrics should I expect?
Response and resolution times by priority, first-contact resolution (70 percent or better is a reasonable level 1 target), mean time to resolve, reopen rate, escalation rate, CSAT and cost per resolved ticket. You set the SLAs in your ITSM; Sourcefit’s training and quality team, included in the fee, monitors and coaches against them.
-
Can I get 24/7 coverage?
Yes. The Philippines covers US night hours on day shifts and US days on night shifts, and South Africa and the Dominican Republic cover European and US Eastern hours. Round-the-clock coverage takes several technicians across shifts, so we size it to ticket volume by hour. A domestic three-shift desk costs far more than an offshore team that pairs with your daytime staff.
-
How do you protect our systems when offshore staff have access?
Named accounts only, least-privilege and role-based access, MFA, session-logged remote tools, background checks, prompt offboarding and periodic access reviews, all inside your identity platform. Technicians work on company-managed computers over a VPN, under Sourcefit’s ISO 27001:2022 and ISO 27701 controls.
-
What does onboarding and transition look like?
Knowledge transfer against your documentation, tool access, a pilot on level 1 tickets, then expansion, with a hypercare period at the start. You need to bring ticket volumes and categories, your stack, escalation contacts and whatever runbooks exist. Outsourcing an undocumented process is the most common mistake, so we help write the runbooks in the first weeks if they do not exist.
-
How is AI changing IT support, and should I just buy an AI help desk?
AI now handles level 0 self-service, password resets, triage and knowledge base deflection, and it should be measured on the same KPIs as people. It does not fix a laptop, rebuild a mailbox or make a judgment call on a security alert. The right setup is AI in front, people behind it, and fewer people on routine tickets over time, which the cost-plus model passes straight through.
