Position Summary:
The Data Analyst role will play proactive and collaborative role by working closely with the Forecasting and Insights Analyst to support our end-to-end demand planning process. This role is responsible for assisting data analysis and cross-functional coordination to ensure accurate demand signals and corresponding activities undertaken within the supply chain. The role supports related planning functions and will contribute to broader administrative duties to support the business needs.

Hybrid Setup – Bridgetowne, Quezon City
Monday to Friday | 8 AM to 5 PM Queensland time zone
*Following PH Holidays

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze historical sales data, trends, seasonality, promotional activity, and new product introductions to inform forecast models.
  • Work closely with sales, marketing and supply teams to gather inputs and adjust forecasts accordingly.
  • Support weekly and monthly demand reviews, providing insights and highlighting forecast risks or variances.
  • Prepare and maintain forecasting reports using key demand planning metrics (WMAPE, BIAS, service levels).
  • Monitor daily sales and consumption data, identify anomalies, and support rapid response to forecast deviations.
  • Assist with product lifecycle planning of new products and deletions.
  • Maintain data accuracy in ERP systems.
  • Provide support in S&OP, including preparing materials for meetings and scenario analysis.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the demand planning and broader supply chain function.
  • Continuously enhance data collection and dashboards using advanced analytical software and techniques.
  • Reporting on Dumps and Out of Scopes on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Undertake other planning, administrative or supply chain related duties as required to support business needs.
  • Back up to Forecasting and Insights Analyst role.
  • Provide ad hoc analytical support for strategic projects and customer negotiations.
  • Develop deep-dive reports to support sales trends, product seasonality, and customer purchasing behaviors.
  • Collaborate with Commercial and Operations teams to translate data into actionable strategies across operations, sales and marketing strategies.

 

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience within a FMCG / manufacturing operation (preferably short shelf life).
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with statistical analysis, forecasting methods, and predictive analytics.
  • Proficient in SQL, Excel, Power BI/Tableau, or similar data analytics and visualisation tools.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in high-volume, fast-paced environments.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to convey complex data clearly to diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Knowledge of FMCG industry dynamics, supermarket retail landscape, and short shelf-life product challenges is highly advantageous.
  • Comprehensive understanding of what drives supply chain performance and ability to execute.
  • Experience in delivering commercial results in an operation environment.
  • Experience using planning and scheduling tools and ERP software.
  • Previous experience working with remote manufacturing sites is an advantage
  • Previous experience using John Galt Demand Planning systems is a plus
