We strongly believe in protecting people’s data as these are your basic fundamental rights as  human beings. The Privacy Policy is created to demonstrate the company’s firm commitment in securing  the individual’s right to privacy and ensure the trustworthiness of its internet communication and its processing of individual’s personal information. 

The Privacy Policy of sourcefit.com (“Website”) details how the website handles and processes information gathered from its Visitors including Users of online, mobile, and other services that the company provides (“Services”), and attendees and participants of events organized by Sourcefit Philippines Inc. (“Company”)  The term “Information” refers to all the different forms of data, content, and information gathered as  described in the succeeding paragraphs. 

The Privacy Policy also covers the rights of the Company over the Information, regardless of the type of device or application that is used to access the Website and Services. By using the Website and Services and attending and participating in Company organized events, you agree to the collection, storage, processing, transferring, disclosure, and other usage of the Information as stated in the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service Agreement. Consuming, viewing, sharing of any information in our website or other social media platforms, affirms that you agree with the privacy policy and terms of agreement. Please do not use the Website and Services, nor provide us any Information. 

If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, The Company reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time, and may change  without prior notice and without incurring any liability to you or to any third-party. You are solely responsible for reviewing the Privacy Policy. Under Chapter IV of the Data Privacy Act of the Philippines, there are eight (8) rights that belong to data subjects, namely: the right to be informed; the right to access; the right to object; the right to erasure and blocking; the right to rectify; the right to file a complaint; the right to damages; and the right to data portability.

  • Right to information – The data subject has the right to know when his or her personal data shall be, are being, or have been processed.
  • Right to Object – The consent of the data subject be secured in the collecting and processing of his or her data. It grants the data subject the choice of refusing to consent, as well as the choice to withdraw consent, as regards collection and processing. 
  • Right to Access –  Any entity possessing any personal data shall provide the data subject with a description of such data in its possession, as well as the purposes for which they are to be or are being processed. Furthermore, other details regarding the processing of their information may be obtained, such as the period for which the information will be stored, and the recipients to whom the information may be disclosed.
  • Right to Rectify – The data subject has the right to dispute any inaccuracy or error in the personal information processed and to have the personal information controller correct it immediately.
  • Right to Erase – The data subject may suspend, withdraw or order the blocking, removal, destruction of his or her personal information from the personal information controller’s filing system upon discovery and substantial proof that the personal information are incomplete, outdated, false, unlawfully obtained, used for unauthorized purposes or are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected.
  • Right to Damages – The aggrieved data subject may be indemnified for any damages sustained due to inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, false, unlawfully obtained or unauthorized use of his or her personal information.
  • Right to Data Portability – The data subject has the right to obtain and electronically move, copy, or transfer personal data for further use. This also carries out another policy behind the law–ensuring the free flow of personal information.
  • Right to File a Complaint – The National Privacy Commission affords a remedy to any data subject who “[feels] that [his or her] personal information has been misused, maliciously disclosed, or improperly disposed,” or in case of any violation of his or her data privacy rights.
