Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator with proven expertise in material quantity surveying, construction project estimation, and trade-specific knowledge in tiling and painting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction and project plans and be able to work independently in preparing accurate estimates and takeoffs. Proficiency in Procore is required, while familiarity with EstimateOne and BCT is considered an advantage.

Responsibilities:
• Conduct material quantity takeoffs and prepare cost estimates for tiling and painting scopes of work.
• Review architectural and construction plans to determine project requirements and scope.
• Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain accurate pricing and timelines.
• Utilize Procore to manage and track estimates, bid submissions, and documentation.
• Ensure all estimates are comprehensive, competitive, and aligned with project specifications and budget requirements.
• Prepare and present detailed BOQs (Bills of Quantities) for internal review and client submission.
• Monitor and update estimate logs and assist in maintaining a database of pricing and project histories.
• Coordinate with clients and attend pre-construction meetings as required.
• Provide value engineering suggestions and cost-saving alternatives during estimation.
Qualifications:
• 3–5 years of proven work experience in construction estimation, with a strong focus on tiling and painting works.
• Solid experience in material quantity surveying and construction project estimation.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings and project specifications.
• Proficiency in Procore for estimation and project documentation.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and communication skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple estimation tasks simultaneously.
• Experience with EstimateOne and BCT is a plus.
• Trade background or relevant tertiary education in construction management, quantity surveying, or a related field preferred.
