What the rate includes. Every rate above is all in. It is the employee’s salary and statutory benefits, passed through at cost and itemized on your invoice, plus our flat $395 management fee. The fee covers legal employment and an HR team on the ground, recruitment, an i5 computer with dual monitors and headset, 24/7 IT support and a secure managed network, security certifications and insurance, training and quality, client success management and the Knit workforce platform. There are no setup, recruitment, workstation, exit or team transfer fees. Where the work suits it, output-based pricing is also available, built on the same transparent framework with the unit price calculation shown.
That is typically 50 to 70 percent below the fully loaded cost of the same role in the US.

Frequently asked questions
-
How much does graphic design outsourcing cost?
Sourcefit’s graphic design rates are $1,480 a month for entry level, $2,165 for mid level and $2,850 for senior designers, per full-time employee working from home. Office-based staff add $100 a month. Each rate is all in: salary and benefits at cost plus the $395 management fee. There are no setup, recruitment or exit fees. Where the work suits it, output-based pricing is also available, built on the same transparent framework: we show how the unit price is calculated, so you know exactly what you are paying for.
-
Is the management fee added on top of these rates?
No. The fee is already inside every rate on this page and on every quote. A $1,480 rate is about $1,085 of salary and benefits at cost plus the $395 fee. You will never see the fee added to a rate you were quoted.
-
What is included in the monthly rate?
Legal employment and compliance with an HR team on the ground, recruitment, an i5 computer with dual monitors and headset, a 24/7 IT help desk, a secure managed network, our security certifications and insurance, training and quality, client success management and the Knit workforce platform. For office-based staff it also covers the seat, office network and utilities.
-
How quickly can Sourcefit build a graphic design team?
Most graphic design roles are recruited, interviewed and onboarded in two to three weeks. Specialist roles such as packaging or UI can take longer. You interview and choose the designers.
-
Who manages the team day to day?
That is your choice. Most clients manage the team directly: the designers report to your managers and work inside your processes and tools, with Sourcefit handling employment, HR, equipment, IT and quality support behind them. If you would rather not manage day to day, our Sightline model builds an autonomous team with its own Sourcefit team lead and quality layer that delivers against agreed SLAs, while still reporting directly to you and working to your KPIs, not ours. Sightline is quoted separately.
-
Can the team work inside our existing systems?
Yes. Designers work in your design software and asset platforms, such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, Canva and your DAM or brand portal, under your access rules. You keep ownership of every account, and access is revoked the day someone leaves.
-
Is graphic design outsourcing secure?
Sourcefit holds ISO 27001:2022 and ISO 27701 certification directly, is PCI DSS validated, has a SOC 2 report, signs HIPAA business associate agreements where needed and operates GDPR-aligned data handling. Home-based staff work on company-managed computers over a VPN with traffic routed through Cloudflare.
-
What happens if we want to bring the team in house?
The team is yours. If you decide to move them to your own entity or take them with you, they go with you. There is no transfer fee, buyout or conversion charge.
-
Dedicated designer, unlimited design subscription, agency or freelancer?
A subscription queues one request at a time and typically delivers 10 to 20 finished pieces a month, with most 3D, motion and UX work excluded. A dedicated designer works in parallel on your priorities, joins your Slack and standups, knows the brand, and output is limited by hours rather than a queue. Agencies suit strategy-heavy rebrands; freelancers suit one-off projects. For steady production work, ads, social, decks, email and web assets, a dedicated designer at a flat monthly rate is usually the best value.
-
What drives the cost of an offshore designer?
Seniority and specialization. Production and layout designers sit at entry level; brand, UI and motion specialists sit higher because their salaries are higher in the Philippines. The management fee is the same for every designer; the difference between rates is the salary line, passed through at cost.
-
What design work can be outsourced?
Marketing and digital assets, ad variations, social graphics, email graphics, presentations, production and layout, print preparation, brand asset upkeep and web graphics all work well, and so do senior roles: art directors, brand designers who maintain and extend your identity, and design leads who manage a production team. Brand strategy stays with you; creative direction can sit offshore once a senior designer knows your brand. UX/UI and motion are separate specialist roles we can also staff.
-
How do I assess a designer’s portfolio?
Relevance to your deliverables, a consistent standard, and no barely-customized templates. Ask to see source files: layer names, folder structure and print setup say more than the reel. We screen for the same things and you can set a paid trial task with a deliberately imperfect brief to see how the candidate asks questions.
-
Which software should the designer know, and who pays for licenses?
Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Figma are the baseline; Canva for social, never as the only tool; After Effects or Webflow as adjacent skills. The standard Sourcefit computer is an i5 with dual monitors. Design seats in Adobe, Figma and Canva, fonts and stock licenses are normally yours, so the designer is added to your accounts and the files stay under your name; Sourcefit can also procure seats and pass the cost through at cost. Computer upgrades above the standard package are billed at cost.
-
How do I keep brand consistency with a designer who is not in my office?
Brand guidelines, templates and a do-not-use list at onboarding, one designated final reviewer, and consolidated feedback in one place. Tenure does the rest: the same designer working on your brand every day gets more consistent, not less.
-
How are revisions handled?
They are part of the designer’s hours, not billed per round. Good briefs keep most assets to one or two rounds.
-
Who owns the designs, source files and any AI-assisted work?
You do. Finals and working files are stored in your systems, IP assignment is in the terms, and stock and AI-generated elements are used under licenses you hold. Set your AI policy and the designer works inside it.
-
How much output can one dedicated designer deliver per month?
More than a subscription’s 10 to 20 pieces for production work, with same-day or next-day turnaround on simple assets and several days for brand pieces or landing pages. The real constraint is the quality of the briefs, so we help you set up a request process in the first weeks.
-
Will AI design tools replace the need for a graphic designer?
They replace parts of the job: resizing, background removal, template graphics and ad variations. They do not replace judgment, brand systems, hierarchy or handling a stakeholder’s third round of changes. We recruit designers who use AI to raise throughput, and production-only roles are the ones most changed by it.
