Estimator

Position Summary:

The Estimator will play a crucial role in creating identified opportunities for both Quoted Service Works and Minor Works across Australia. This position focuses on three core activities:

  • Estimating profitable margins on all estimates
  • Clear written and verbal communication with all stakeholders via phone, email, and Teams
  • Efficient turnaround on submission of estimates to the customer or their representative

Job Details:

  • Work from Home
  • Monday to Friday | 6 AM to 3 PM Philippine Time
  • *Following Australian Public Holidays

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Salesforce cases generated by our service team from quotes identified onsite with customers, ensuring clarity in the data supplied.
  • Follow up with technicians via phone, Teams, and email when necessary.
  • Generate quotes within 1 business day, Australia-wide.
  • Source parts and prices using the client's estimate tool.
  • Call or email suppliers for pricing information.
  • Ensure profit margins are met.
  • Manage documentation in accordance with the quality management system.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Suite of Products with a high level of knowledge in Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
  • Salesforce experience is a plus but not a requirement.
  • High level of organizational and multitasking abilities is essential.
  • Keen eye for detail, especially concerning financial documents, is a must.
  • Experience working with Australian companies is a plus but not a requirement.

Estimator (Printing Industry)

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Estimator with a solid background in general estimating and a specific focus on the printing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for printing projects, utilizing their expertise in cost estimation and their ability to learn and adapt to our PrintMIS software. This role requires strong analytical and technical skills, alongside excellent communication and organizational abilities. The Estimator will play a critical role in optimizing costs and improving processes to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Job Details:

  • Monday to Friday | 3 PM to 12 AM Manila Time

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for printing projects, including materials, labor, and production time.
  • Utilize estimating software to generate estimates and analyze job specifications.
  • Translate knowledge of various manufacturing and production processes to the printing industry.
  • Learn and adapt to PrintMIS software for effective project estimation.
  • Analyze job specifications and requirements to ensure precise cost estimation.
  • Collaborate with various departments to optimize costs and improve production processes.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of cost estimates, job specifications, and other relevant documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to provide clear and accurate information regarding estimates.
  • Monitor and report on estimation accuracy and make necessary adjustments to improve precision.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and advancements to continuously enhance estimation practices.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of general estimating experience in any industry.
  • Proven track record in estimating costs, including materials, labor, and production time.
  • Estimating experience in the printing industry.
  • Familiarity with using estimating software and a basic understanding of different manufacturing or production processes.
  • Willingness and ability to learn and adapt to PrintMIS software.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to prepare accurate cost estimates and analyze job specifications.
  • Experience in cost optimization and process improvement.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • High levels of self-motivation and a positive, enthusiastic approach to customer interactions.

Operations Assistant

Position Summary:

We are hiring an Operations Assistant. The ideal candidate will have previous logistics or travel industry experience and should be comfortable multitasking and working in a very international environment, cross-functionally with different business units. Good global geography skills are essential.

Job Details:

  • Work from Home
  • Monday to Friday | Shifting Schedule - 10 PM to 7 AM Manila Time; 4 AM to 1 PM Manila Time
  • (need to be comfortable with both shifts)
  • 2-week notice will be given before the shift changes.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and supervise ongoing on-board courier and road shipments in a 24/7 shift cover
  • Handle customer service inquiries as well as general customer contact
  • Process sales/quotation requests
  • Assign freelance air couriers as well as road transportation, customs clearance and other suppliers to shipments, instruct and supervise them.
  • Booking, modifying and ticketing of flight reservations using Amadeus global distribution system.
  • Perform basic accounting activities, including preparing invoices, posting incoming receipts, and paying couriers and third-party service providers.
  • Manage budget to align with goals of business.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in the logistics, aviation, travel agency or similar fields.
  • Excellent global geography skills.
  • Willingness to work with clients, partners, suppliers and couriers from all over the world.
  • The ability to cope with stressful situations, strong ability to multitask.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Experience with Amadeus or Sabre cryptic flight reservation systems is a plus.
