Position Summary:

Our client is looking for a talented Magento 1 or Magento 2 certified developer who will be responsible for managing and supporting our eCommerce websites with at least 2 years working on the Magento platform. Your main tasks are to ensure that the website is running smoothly, and that existing functionality continues to work properly. You will also oversee optimization, upgrading Magento and extension upgrades, monitoring, and applying any required front-end changes

Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

  • Strong object-oriented programming knowledge
  • Very good PHP knowledge
  • JavaScript is a must for front-end development
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web development languages and tools.
  • Proven experience as a webmaster or in a similar role, with a strong background in SEO optimization.
  • Magento Certified. Magento 2 certified is a plus
  • Preferably 2 or more years’ experience with Magento

Logistics Coordinator

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in managing the seamless flow of goods and information within the supply chain. Your responsibilities encompass overseeing the procurement process, collaborating with suppliers and freight forwarders, and maintaining accurate inventory records.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the process and documentation of purchasing inventory.
  • Liaise with suppliers and freight forwarders to effectively monitor shipments.
  • Collaborate with freight forwarders to optimize the value and capacity of LCL shipments.
  • Maintain inventory receiving entries and adjustments.
  • Be responsible for the activation of new products and weekly price updates in the system.
  • Process stock transfers and provincial orders.
  • Be responsible for inventory reconciliation.
  • Exercise due diligence to maintain the accuracy of supplier transactions.
  • Maintain an accurate and current status of supplier and customer inquiries.
  • Collaborate with the supervisor to resolve issues with shipments and inventory.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Office applications.
  • Demonstrates intermediate to advanced expertise in MS Excel, leveraging its functionalities to enhance data analysis and reporting.
  • Holds a comprehensive background in logistics and/or purchasing.
  • Possesses a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a computerized purchasing environment, adept at managing the entire purchasing cycle.
  • Exhibits exceptional customer service skills, ensuring client satisfaction through effective communication and problem resolution.
  • Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with an emphasis on clarity and professionalism.
  • Capable of taking initiative and working independently, contributing to a proactive and results-driven work environment.
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is considered an asset.

Level-2 POS Tech Support

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Level-2 Tech Support professional with a strong technical IT background and a comprehensive understanding of Windows, networking, and business processes related to Point of Sale (POS) systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in a challenging support environment and demonstrate fluency in English with excellent communication skills. This role requires a flexible 40-hour work week, including weekends, and a strong technical motivation to learn and grow within the field.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide Level-2 technical support for our client’s systems, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of customer issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to Windows operating systems, networking, and POS business processes including end-of-day balancing, stocktaking, and bank EFTPOS & accounting integrations.
  • Write and maintain scripts for task automation to improve efficiency and service delivery.
  • Manage and troubleshoot databases at a core level, specifically SQL and Firebird.
  • Offer support and guidance on WAN infrastructure and VPN configurations.
  • Participate in system upgrades and database troubleshooting, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to services.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with customers and team members, documenting issues and solutions thoroughly.
  • Supervise and manage support service teams when required, ensuring high standards of service and support.
  • Continuously seek to improve technical skills and knowledge through training and practical experience.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge and experience with WAN infrastructure and VPNs.
  • Proficiency in scripting for task automation.
  • Strong database management skills, particularly with SQL and Firebird.
  • High level of IT capability, with a history of managing or supervising support services teams.
  • Experience working in a challenging support environment, specifically with POS systems.
  • Fluent English speaking with excellent communication skills.
  • Flexible to work a 40-hour week, including weekends.
  • Demonstrated technical motivation and desire to grow skills, particularly in systems upgrades and database troubleshooting.
