Key responsibilities:

  • Supervise backend operations, optimize office infrastructure, and drive continuous improvement initiatives for operational efficiency.
  • Oversee copayments, deductibles, and other financial obligations, supervising the revenue cycle process.
  • Manage leads, schedule appointments, ensure accurate client information using CRM tools.
  • Handle client communications and assist in onboarding new clients.
  • Execute prior authorizations with insurance companies and verify eligibility.
  • Coordinate patient appointments and staff shifts, manage no-shows, cancellations, and organize team meetings while ensuring complete client documentation.

Medical Billing Agent [Back Office]

Job Summary:

We're hiring a Medical Billing Agent! If you enjoy customer service, managing account balances, and staying organized, this role is for you.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide quality customer service in the collection of outstanding account balances.
  • Document all collection activities and maintain organized records.
  • Respond to correspondence and verbal inquiries promptly.
  • Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulations applicable to the role.
  • Maintain acceptable levels of productivity for assigned accounts.
  • Utilize processes and client systems effectively.
  • Create reasonable payment plans for patients or responsible parties.
  • Communicate operational issues to supervisors, including client and PFS needs.
  • Respond to and follow up on all inquiries.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

  • Effective verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in phone etiquette and soft skills.
  • Strong critical thinking and investigative skills.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English (both verbal and written communication).

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma.
  • 1+ year of credit/collections or customer service experience.
  • Alternatively, 1+ year of university coursework.
