Vendor Management Coordinator

As a Vendor Management Coordinator, you will perform vendor onboarding and lifecycle management activities in alignment with MCG vendor compliance and risk management program. Interact with vendors to provide support with compliance activities. Interact with all levels of the MCG organization to facilitate timely responses to any questions or concerns. Responsible for ensuring newly onboarded vendors are properly setup in the appropriate MCG systems. Responsible for ensuring updates to existing vendors are properly reflected in the appropriate MCG systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with market personnel, GC Souring Managers, and Supply Chain/Sourcing to facilitate the onboarding of subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors through MCG vendor management portals (CERTA and AVETTA)
  • Audit vendor certification system requests to ensure vendors are progressing through onboarding timely and clear any roadblocks
  • Communicate with market personnel, GC Sourcing Managers as well as internal MNS stakeholders on all vendor onboarding and certification matters
  • Perform compliance and risk management reviews on all vendors for lifecycle management as needed to mitigate risk
  • Process vendor set ups and updates in other MasTec systems (Oracle and AccuV)
  • Assist with clean-up and maintenance of vendor data in MCG systems to include CERTA, Oracle, OFS, and AccuV
  • Manage MNS Vendor Portal electronic mailbox
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 3 + years of experience in the related field preferred (Vendor Management, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, etc.)
  • Advanced computer skills (e.g., MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Oracle, web-based tools)
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and customer service
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills (English required)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work well with others in fast-paced, dynamic environment

Logistics Coordinator

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in managing the seamless flow of goods and information within the supply chain. Your responsibilities encompass overseeing the procurement process, collaborating with suppliers and freight forwarders, and maintaining accurate inventory records.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the process and documentation of purchasing inventory.
  • Liaise with suppliers and freight forwarders to effectively monitor shipments.
  • Collaborate with freight forwarders to optimize the value and capacity of LCL shipments.
  • Maintain inventory receiving entries and adjustments.
  • Be responsible for the activation of new products and weekly price updates in the system.
  • Process stock transfers and provincial orders.
  • Be responsible for inventory reconciliation.
  • Exercise due diligence to maintain the accuracy of supplier transactions.
  • Maintain an accurate and current status of supplier and customer inquiries.
  • Collaborate with the supervisor to resolve issues with shipments and inventory.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Office applications.
  • Demonstrates intermediate to advanced expertise in MS Excel, leveraging its functionalities to enhance data analysis and reporting.
  • Holds a comprehensive background in logistics and/or purchasing.
  • Possesses a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a computerized purchasing environment, adept at managing the entire purchasing cycle.
  • Exhibits exceptional customer service skills, ensuring client satisfaction through effective communication and problem resolution.
  • Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with an emphasis on clarity and professionalism.
  • Capable of taking initiative and working independently, contributing to a proactive and results-driven work environment.
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is considered an asset.

Freight Service Sales Executive

Position Summary:

As a Freight Services Sales Executive, you will be instrumental in driving the sales and growth of our freight services. Your primary responsibilities include securing new client accounts, facilitating effective communication between customers and carriers, and adeptly negotiating contracts to optimize profits. This role requires a keen focus on tracking load statuses and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of market trends in the transportation sector to achieve sales targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate leads and develop a sales pipeline to attract new prospects.
  • Engage in outbound calling activities targeting the U.S. market, with a minimum daily requirement of 100 calls to effectively meet the specified revenue targets.
  • Identify and select reputable and safe carriers for freight services.
  • Provide accurate and competitive shipping quotes to customers.
  • Book orders with carriers and assist in preparing them for loads.
  • Track the status of loads to ensure efficient and timely operations.
  • Collaborate with shippers, carriers, and dispatchers to manage scheduled collections and drop-offs.
  • Keep precise records of relevant freight service activities.
  • Proactively communicate with customers about shipment statuses and handle various inquiries.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends and developments in the transportation marketplace.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales role
  • Experience with Logistics or Freight services in a sales capacity is a HUGE Plus.
