Job Details:

  • PV CAD Designer
  • Work from home
  • Monday to Friday | 4 AM to 1 PM or 6 AM to 3 PM Philippine Time
  • Remote Training for 3 weeks

Responsibilities:

  • Use AutoCAD software to design photovoltaic & energy storage systems based on information gathered from site surveys.
  • Work cross-functionally with other operations team members and sales teams to ensure clients’ needs are met and project timelines are at a minimum.
  • Track all projects through the permitting process and utilize the project management software to keep projects moving forward.
  • Review permit & inspection comments and provide responses to resolve corrections.
  • Perform additional design & engineering duties as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1-year experience in designing PV systems
  • Moderate level of experience using Excel for electrical calculations
  • Good understanding of the CA electrical code
  • Basic knowledge of residential construction is preferred
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as work independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
  • Regular, reliable and predictable attendance required

The Estimator will be responsible for reviewing structural drawings, preparing itemized material lists, and utilizing industry-specific software to provide accurate estimates. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural steel drawings, be proficient in Bluebeam Revu, and possess exceptional attention to detail.

Job Details:

Work from home

Permanent Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday | 9 AM to 6 PM (Manila Time)

Training Schedule: Monday to Friday | 9 PM to 6 AM – For about 4 weeks

Responsibilities:

  • Review structural drawings and related contract documents to determine material requirements and prepare itemized lists.
  • Utilize BlueBeam to conduct efficient takeoffs, including:
  • Corrugated metal takeoff as SQ FT
  • Steel Joists / Trusses takeoff as # of PCS
  • Communicate with internal team members to clarify discrepancies or questions in contract documents, ensuring accurate estimates.
  • Prepare a comprehensive scope of work documents, including all exclusions, clarifications, and conditions.
  • Maintain a detailed record of all bid documents, noting the dates used in the preparation of the estimate.
  • Input material takeoffs into design and pricing software to generate sales proposals.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in reading and interpreting structural steel drawings.
  • Proficiency in Bluebeam Revu (any version).
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role as an Estimator.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent critical thinking skills, with the ability to fill in the gaps or make assumptions as needed.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Solid problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and Word.
  • Familiarity with design and pricing software.

Architect / Structural Calculation Engineer

Responsibilities:

Design and Development:

  • Handle the design of architectural and structural elements for various projects.
  • Develop innovative and effective design solutions that meet client requirements and project specifications.

Structural Calculations:

  • Perform detailed structural calculations to ensure the safety and stability of buildings and structures.
  • Analyze loads, materials, and structural systems to provide accurate and reliable calculations.

Architectural Drawings:

  • Create detailed architectural drawings and blueprints using AutoCAD.
  • Ensure that all drawings comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.

Project Coordination:

  • Collaborate with other engineers, architects, and construction professionals to ensure cohesive project execution.
  • Review and approve designs and calculations from team members and consultants.

Quality Assurance:

  • Conduct thorough reviews of design documents to identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
  • Maintain high standards of accuracy and detail in all design and calculation work.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
